Remember that whenever we mention "[email protected]" in this guide, you should replace it with your own email address. Here is the guide:
1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2016 on your computer.
2. From the top menu, click on "File" and then select "Add Account".
3. Select the option "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
4. Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
5. On the next screen, fill out the information as follows:
- Your Name: Your name
- Email Address: [email protected]
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: mail.dominioteste.com.br
- Outgoing mail server: mail.dominioteste.com.br
- User Name: [email protected]
- Password: your email password
6. Click on "More Settings" and go to the "Outgoing Server" tab. Check the option "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
7. Next, go to the "Advanced" tab. Configure the ports as follows:
- Incoming Server (IMAP): 993
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): 465
8. Click "OK" to close the "Additional Account Settings" window.
9. Click "Next" and then "Finish".
Done! Now, [email protected] is set up in your Microsoft Outlook 2016.
